Gastroenterology and Nutrition, P.C. was founded by Dr. Samuel Davidoff. It has been serving the local Forest Hills community since 2008.

We are constantly looking for ways to improve and meet the health needs of patients locally and city-wide. We offer innovative technology, knowledge, and advanced skills to provide the best gastroenterology care to our patients.

Dr. Samuel Davidoff, MD

Board-Certified Gastroenterologist

Dr. Davidoff founded Gastroenterology and Nutrition, P.C. in 2008 and has been serving the Forest Hills community with distinction ever since. Board-certified in Gastroenterology, he completed his fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center and has performed over 10,000 endoscopic procedures. His expertise includes advanced endoscopic techniques, inflammatory bowel disease management, and colorectal cancer screening. Dr. Davidoff is known for his patient-centered approach and commitment to providing comprehensive digestive health care.

Dr. Yuriy Israel, MD

Board-Certified Gastroenterologist

Dr. Israel joined the practice in 2016, specializing in General Gastroenterology and Hepatology. A graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, he completed his training at Beth Israel Medical Center and New York Medical College Westchester Medical Center. Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Israel brings extensive experience in treating complex digestive disorders, liver diseases, and performing advanced endoscopic procedures. He is particularly interested in preventive care and early detection of gastrointestinal cancers.

Emanuel Yaakobov, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Emanuel joined the practice in 2021, bringing extensive experience from emergency departments at Elmhurst Hospital Center and Forest Hills LIJ. Board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, he specializes in Gastroenterology and is passionate about preventative care, especially colorectal cancer screening. His emergency medicine background provides him with unique insights into acute gastrointestinal conditions. Emanuel is dedicated to patient education and ensuring each patient understands their treatment plan thoroughly.
