Comprehensive Gastroenterology Services
As a full-service gastroenterology clinic, we offer Rego Park patients a wide range of digestive health services and cutting-edge procedures, including:
- Colonoscopy & Colorectal Cancer Screening: We provide thorough colonoscopy screenings to identify colon polyps and detect colorectal cancer at an early stage. Regular colorectal screening colonoscopies are among the most effective tools for preventing colon cancer.
- Upper Endoscopy: Our specialists use high-definition upper endoscopy (EGD) to examine the esophagus, stomach, and upper small intestine. This allows us to diagnose and treat conditions like acid reflux, ulcers, and swallowing problems in a minimally invasive way.
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Management: We specialize in managing IBD conditions such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Treatment is tailored to each patient to reduce inflammation, control flare-ups, and improve quality of life.
- Capsule Endoscopy: For evaluating areas of the small intestine that standard scopes cannot reach, we offer capsule endoscopy. In this advanced endoscopic procedure, you swallow a pill-sized camera that captures images as it passes through your digestive tract – useful for diagnosing unexplained bleeding or small bowel Crohn’s disease.
- Treatment of Digestive Disorders: From common ailments like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and hemorrhoids to complex liver diseases, our clinic treats the full spectrum of digestive disorders. We use the latest evidence-based treatments and emphasize nutrition and lifestyle changes to address underlying causes, not just symptoms.

Preventive Care Focus for Long-Term Health
Preventive care is a major focus at Gastroenterology & Nutrition, P.C.:
- Early Detection of GI Cancers: Routine screenings like colonoscopies can catch issues such as colon polyps before they turn into cancer. Our team strongly advocates for timely colorectal screening to protect your health. We remain vigilant for signs of other gastrointestinal cancers and use tools like endoscopy and imaging when appropriate.
- Digestive Health Education: We believe informed patients make the best decisions about their health. During your visits, we provide guidance on diet, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that promote healthy digestion. By managing risk factors and practicing good preventive care, you can avoid many gastrointestinal issues.
