Emanuel Yaakobov, FNP-BC, joined Gastroenterology and Nutrition, P.C. in 2021 and has since become a key provider in the practice. He specializes in general gastroenterology and hepatology. Emanuel earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Adelphi University and a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Long Island University CW Post. He is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is an active member of the Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP).

Emanuel Yaakobov gained experience working in the emergency departments of Elmhurst Hospital Center and Forest Hills Hospital (LIJ), as well as providing home care visits for Medicaid patients. After obtaining his master’s degree and FNP certification, he joined Gastroenterology and Nutrition, P.C., where he works closely with gastroenterologists Dr. Samuel Davidoff and Dr. Yuriy Israel. Emanuel manages both hospital and outpatient gastroenterology patients, diagnosing digestive diseases and coordinating treatment plans. He emphasizes preventive care, especially screening colonoscopies, to prevent colorectal cancer. Known for being a compassionate and thoughtful clinician, Emanuel takes time to listen to his patients, ensuring they feel cared for and supported at every step.
